Norvan's Awards

Norvan recognizes the many hours that each and every volunteer puts in to our Squadron. We are all unpaid volunteers and the squadron wouldn't run without everyone's input. In this vein, those who contribute above and beyond are recognized by some special awards that are presented each year. Check out who won what when. Read more...

Greece, Chapter 2! - May 2009

Update! We're gonna do it again! Apparently we didn't suffer enough indignation the first time around...we have decided to save our pennies and go back for a month this time! This time we are going to let you in on our plans...just in case anyone else wants to come along. Now, we're not actually inviting you on our boat (sorry) but if you are interested in chartering a boat and bumbling along with us in a flotilla, hey, the more the merrier! And we know where the cheap wine is! We aren't going until May 2009 so there's lots of time to plan!

Don't know what I'm talking about? Two Norvan members went on a sailing trip in the Greek Islands for 3 weeks in 2005. The hitch? They're both powerboaters! If you're interested in a read, they created a Blog complete with charts and photo albums while they were on their trip. It's a long read, but it's quite the story...and the pictures really make you want to join them next time. Read on....

Follow along for part deux..... of the continuing misadventures of Paige and Kirk (and whoever chooses to sail alongside us).
