<description>False Creek Yacht Club (FCYC) clubhouse is open to all members during the Olympics: For the duration of the Winter Olympic Games, the False Creek Yacht Club will be transformed into Discover Boating House and the best view in False Creek will be open to the public! Show your Canadian Power &amp; Sail Squadron/ US Power Squadron Card for 10% discounts on food in the lounge and enjoy watching the games on the big screen. The lounge will be open for Lunch and Dinner and the pub will be open until 2am for a late night cocktail. Discover Boating House will be in the epicentre of Olympic venues, minutes to David Lam Park and accessible by Aquabus from Granville Island, Yaletown and Science World. Come and join your fellow boaters and our partners, Pacific Yachting, BC Marine Trades Association, West Marine, Power &amp; Sail Squadron, Disabled Sailing Association, and others... During the Games the Aquabus will be stopping at the False Creek Yacht Club docks. Monday February 15th is the Power &amp; Sail Squadrons Pub night (replacing the Vancouver Power and Sail Squadron Night for this unique Games event) at Discover Boating House at the FCYC! If you are a student, proctor, vessel captain volunteering your boat, or an instructor, join us at BYC on Sunday morning at 0900 to head out on the high seas with the students for a great learning experience. If you are not currently in the class and don&apos;t fit into one of hte above categories, then join us at around 1100 for a BBQ, free pop, burgers and hot dogs for you and the family. We haven&apos;t poisoned anyone yet....</description>
